Sainsbury is to open another eight Simon Howie meat counters in Scottish stores by the end of June, in a deal worth £1m.
Six existing sites have reported an average increase in sales of 25% in trials which begun at the end of 2001.
Simon Howie Butchers also supplies products including meat pies, breakfast packs, traditional sausage and beef olives to Sainsbury's stores in Scotland as well as haggis to Sainsbury's stores across the UK.
Sainsbury's meat buyer Emma Metcalf-King said: "Simon Howie has a wealth of experience of meeting the needs of Scottish customers, gained through running his own butcher shops."
Simon Howie Butchers first started supplying Sainsbury in 1999 after it attended Sainsbury's first supplier development programme in Scotland.
