Landmark Wholesale has reported a double-digit sales rise in October, making its year-to-date sales 10% higher than last year.

Licensed goods are up 19.2% so far this year and own brand 12.5% ahead. The bestselling lines are LSV Energy Drinks and No.3 Tobacco, 77% and 34% ahead of last year. "Our support for the convenience sector and providing the right products at the right price have a significant positive effect."

Christmas promotional activity would "keep up the momentum" for the rest of the year, said business development director Chris Doyle.
