Londis has appointed Kelvin Ling to the post of retail planning controller in its central retail planning department. Ling moves from his job as category merchandising controller in the trade marketing team where he worked for five years. He said his brief was to consolidate standard internal and external store designs so they could be better communicated to store owners by field sales staff. "We want to make sure retailers sign up to the newer fascias and designs." Londis retail director Tony Riddy, to whom Ling will report, said the stores' redevelopment would improve range and space, would help increase volumes, and attract higher quality developments. Meanwhile Jeremy Woodruff has been promoted to category manager at Londis. {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
