Sir; Can I offer a reason why the Dome is in such financial trouble? It doesn't want to collect punters' money. I took my family recently and we spent a fair bit buying geegaws. We paid by Switch and thought no more about it. That was at the end of August. So imagine my surprise when going through my bank statements this week to discover it took the Dome people over three weeks to debit the money from my account! What sort of IT systems have they installed? They must be fairly unique if it takes longer for the Dome to collect money "electronically" than it would for them to cash cheques. Perhaps they ran out of money and didn't actually install the EPoS properly? Even my local Londis store only takes a couple of days to collect my money when I use Switch.
