Asda is planning its biggest-ever Team Christmas this year as head office staff, including president Andy Bond, roll up sleeves to stack shelves.
The initiative has run for years to help stores in the build up to Christmas and began with senior management spending one day at the coalface.
Bond, COO and trading director David Cheesewright, George MD Angela Spindler and HQ staff will this year be in stores to replenish Christmas puddings and brandy butter for up to five days.
