The increasingly acrimonious dispute between Sainsbury and Tesco over the Air Miles transfer took another twist this week. An injunction taken out by Sainsbury against Air Miles in a bid to "clarify" the contractual situation between the two companies has added to the confusion. And it has led to claims by Tesco that its arch rival has attempted to block its mail out on the issue to Clubcard members. Tesco takes over the Air Miles loyalty scheme from Sainsbury on March 15 . However Sainsbury denies taking out any injunction against Tesco. A spokeswoman said: "The injunction was against Air Miles and prevents them from permitting Tesco to offer Miles on purchases before March 15." The court has yet to decide the issue. {{NEWS }}
