Sainsbury is set to work alongside the original Air Miles co-founder Keith Mills to develop a rival reward scheme following its decision to axe the loyalty perk. The multiple served a year's notice last March to end the Air Miles agreement which had benefited its eight million Reward card customers for six years. Tesco will take over from Sainsbury as Air Miles' loyalty card partner on March 15. The new deal will be promoted instore and customers will gain 40 Air Miles for every £2.50 worth of Clubcard points, those spending £60 a week will gain 80 miles. {{NEWS }}
