As the Grocer predicted last week, three more CWS superstores have been sold. Stores in Inshes, Inverness and Addlestone, Surrey, have been sold to Tesco, and Sainsbury has purchased the 53,600sq ft store at Berryden, Aberdeen. Sale prices were not revealed and all staff will transfer to the new owners. In July CWS announced it was going to concentrate on its c-store and market town stores, and now five out of 16 superstores earmarked for disposal by the CWS have been sold. CWS has also announced the start of six store projects, including new build and refurbishments totalling £5m. {{NEWS }}
