Tesco has extended its Value range and started the UK's biggest ever nationwide poster campaigns after announcing £80m price cuts earlier this month.
A total of 140 products have been added to the value range since October and 15 as the two-week poster campaign at 6,000 sites launched, bringing the range up to 1,100 lines.
Value lines include pilau rice and jeans at £7, which Tesco said are currently selling at a rate of 12,000 pairs a week.

Premium Bonds saving certificates are set to be made available in retail outlets as part of an ongoing modernisation.
National Savings and Investments said it was looking at linking with third parties to sell Bonds, although it was too early to say who or where.

Icelandic retailer Baugur bought more shares in Big Food Group this week and now holds 20.01% of BFG, as well as stakes in House of Fraser and 2.95% of Somerfield.
