Allied Domecq has released a limited edition port from Cockburn’s in an exclusive tie-up with Morrisons.

Cockburn’s Treaty takes its name from the Treaty of Methuen signed between Britain and Portugal in 1703 to pave the way for the expansion of the port trade. Rosie Kent, senior brand manager for Cockburn’s at Allied Domecq, said: “With its modern, stylish gift packaging and smooth and fruity palate Cockburn’s Treaty port appeals to consumers who enjoy fruit-driven wines and are looking to buy port as a gift or for a special occasion.”

The wine will retail at £8.49 in Morrisons.
