Musgrave Group has appointed two new non-executives to its board.

The Irish wholesaler, which owns the Budgens and Londis c-store brands, has appointed Christopher Musgrave and Brian Flanagan.

Musgrave is the great grandson of Musgrave co-founder Stuart Musgrave.

He is a governor of the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester and fellow of the Royal Agricultural Society. He also runs his own estate management company in the UK, Musgrave Management Systems.

Flanagan has held a number of executive and non-executive roles in businesses including Morrisons and Mars.

He is currently a non-executive director of Jet Environmental and of family business Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate.
