Londis retailers were honoured at Musgrave Retail Partners GB’s annual Londis conference, held this week.
Terry Caton from Londis Grangewood Stores in Chesterfield walked away with the overall title of Londis Store of the Year 2010, as well as Large Store of the Year.
Geoff and Teresa Turner from Londis, Hemingbrough, Selby, took the title of Small Store of the Year, while Richard & Lynne Cooke, from Londis Keswick were awarded Forecourt Store of the Year.
Raj Chandegra, from Londis GSK Brentford, was chosen as the Multiple Account: Convenience Store of the Year and Kay Group from Londis Halifax, took Multiple Account: Forecourt Store of the Year.
“I’m delighted with the progress we’re making with Londis brand,” said Phil Smith, MD of Musgrave Retail Partners GB.
“The key foundations of our operating systems are in place and the major investment in the physical infrastructure of our supply chain, combined with the development of ‘Londis Fresh’ and ‘Brand Essentials’, mean we have never been in a better place.”
He added: “Continuing our journey to provide our customers with all they need for everyday living is key over the coming year and we’re well positioned to emerge from this difficult economic period with a stronger, more successful business.”
