Nisa-Today’s has recruited 46 new members since April - a 37% increase on the same period last year.

The new members, which have a combined turnover of £65m, are focused in the Midlands and Scotland, where Nisa has made substantial gains in recent months said group sales director Andrew Mouse, who has increased the sales team from four to six and put more emphasis on improving links with Nisa-Today’s Central Office.

Stores that have converted to the new-look Nisa fascias (Extra, Metro and Local) have made good progress, said the company, with Sundon Superstore in Luton seeing a 15% uplift in sales after converting to the Local fascia.
