Independent buying group Nisa-Today’s has announced record annual results with a 12% increase in turnover - an uplift of £101m to £969m, for the year ended April 3
The group’s ambient, frozen and chilled distribution operations all achieved growth, with Nisaway sales up 11.3% from £560.3m to £623.9m, Nisafreeze sales rose 5% from £74.8m to £78.3m - in volume case terms equating to an approximate 17% increase, and Nisachill sales were up 12.2% from £132.6m to £148.9m, with case volume increasing 19.5%.
Nisa-Today’s group managing director John Schofield, commented: “Once again the company has, through the support of its members, delivered an excellent performance for the year - meeting the challenges of the business and the marketplace as a whole.
“The results further strengthen our position in meeting future challenges and fighting for the rights and the ultimate success, of our members.”
