Nisa’s new symbol fascia Loco has passed the 50-store milestone.

The retail buying group launched the fascia in October 2011 and opened the first stores in February last year.

“We are pleased with the current progress of the Loco symbol group and have ensured that all stores are of high quality and reflect the Loco branding throughout,” said Nisa retail development director Raj Krishan.

“We have a constant stream of retailers who are keen to become members and we will work closely with each of them to ensure the transition is smooth and as stress free as possible. We have created a good solid platform and we will accelerate this growth in the coming year.”

Changes made since opening the first stores include the introduction of market research to ensure each store has the appropriate range of impulse, grocery and licensed products for its target market.
