Ocado yet again impressed with its service from the moment our shopper logged on and is therefore this quarter’s star performer.

After an earlier disastrous experience with an online delivery from Sainsbury, our shopper was apprehensive about ordering online again. But the process proved easy, the delivery was on time and everything ordered was delivered. Some free samples were included and the receipt was only a few pennies off the original estimate.

Only an out of stock on Nescafé Original prevented Ocado from delivering The Grocer 33 full list.

Our shopper called it “a perfect service”, adding: “We had a great weekend and the shopping did not ruin it.”

And the proof of Ocado’s success is that the shopper now thinks he will use the service again, especially as he received £20 worth of vouchers.
