Perkins is to give a retailer case study on trade promotions and will be asking attendees ahead of the conference what they need to know to help drive their business.
Morrisons group trading director Martyn Jones heads the list of top level speakers on 6 July.
As trade promotions hit a record spend after two years of economic turmoil, Jones will reveal the promotions currently driving grocery spend. And Anne Murphy, general manager of Birds Eye, will lead a discussion on whether trade promotions are out of control. New research on the day will outline supplier spending plans for 2010/11.
Other speakers include Institute of Sales Promotion director Colin Harper, who will explain thedifference between price discounting and product promotions, while Ed Garner, director of Kantar, will discuss whether promotions can work in the long term.
