The Mail on Sunday said the OFT had written to the company on November 13 confirming that there were "reasonable grounds" to suspect price fixing involving Robert Wiseman Dairies.
However, finance director Billy Keane said there had been "no significant developments" to announce.
The Mos also sai that high street news and book retailer WH Smith could axe hundreds of job at its head office in the New Year when it reveals its post-Christmas trading statement.
The Times said that the Icelandic retailer Baugur has bought Midand-based snack shop chain Julian Graves, for £14m.
Julian Graves is a 200-store family-owned chain, which sells itself as "a bit of what you fancy". Baugur told The Times it plans to extend the number of Julian Graves stores by about 50% in the next few years.
