Nisa-Today’s digital satellite radio station Nisa FM has reached a milestone with more than 200 Nisa member stores now tuning in.

The station, which was launched in March, is aimed at enhancing in-store atmosphere and increase point of sale purchases by broadcasting pop music, advertising and jingles 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The buying group said it expected the number of member stores to exceed 300 by christmas as a result of a “major push planned by its central office”.

Nisa-Today’s commercial director John Heagney said: “Our members have reported stunning sales increases on advertised promotions and we have had numerous positive reports on how Nisa FM has improved the overall ambience of our member stores.”
