There's nothing like the endorsement of a top celebrity to give your enterprise a little touch of glamour and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is nothing like a top celebrity.

Nevertheless, the horsey former It Girl has sought to sprinkle a little of her precious aristocratic stardust over her favourite shop. Not Harrods, or even Waitrose but the local branch of Nisa, that being Krystals Food & Wine in leafy Kensington.

"I can't live without my local Nisa store," Tara says eagerly. "The best thing about it is I barely visit the shop. But the team at my local store are kind enough to deliver to me."

It's no surprise Tara wants to stay home. The reality TV star, who has appeared in Fame Academy, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, Spelling Bee and Cold Turkey and was also the face of Walkers Crisps for a while is famously shy and retiring. Although it's perhaps a little odd that she made the comments about dodging the paparazzi in an interview with She magazine.

The staff at Nisa might wish she was in the store a bit more often, however. Tara once confessed on television that she had been shopping in Sainsbury's "wearing nothing but a trenchcoat".
