Northern Irish meat processor Dunbia has beefed up its business in England after buying Crewe-based pork supplier Heathfield Foods. The deal adds a tenth site to Dunbia s operations across the UK and Ireland.
Henderson Foodservice has acquired Independent Catering Services in Northern Ireland. ICS, which is based in Newry, supplies chilled and ambient products to caterers in Northern Ireland but also has a significant client base in the Irish republic.
Musgrave Group has handed the reins to Superquinn to finance chief Tim Kenny. The company has set up a new division, dubbed Musgrave Operating Partners Ireland, to oversee the acquired business, having received the green light from Irish competition authorities last month.
