A new managing director has taken over at BWG UK to complete a restructuring of the group and develop a three-year strategic plan.
Tony Overton has moved from Booker, where he was regional director Midlands, to the group which comprises four delivered wholesalers - T&A Symonds, EV Saxton, AR Daunt and Goodwins. They are all members of Key Lekkerland.
The restructuring will see the Goodwins depot become a dedicated ambient supplier to another BWG company, Bargain Booze, and Daunt will service Goodwins' other customers.
Overton said the new structure would be completed by September 1 and he aimed to have a new strategy in place by October.
He replaces George Thompson, who left for personal reasons.
