Fine Food distributor RH Amar is looking to continue its push into the c-store sector by joining the Association of Convenience Stores.
The distributor said it wanted to develop closer links with wholesalers and convenience retailers, which together account for around 20% of its turnover. In April, it appointed Karen Jones as its first dedicated impulse channel controller.
“Our brands are already making a vital contribution to the success of c-stores,” said Jones. “That is why we have been introducing a number of recent key initiatives, including price-marked packs on popular lines of Nando’s and Pizza Express sauces and dressings, and the first C&C packs made available by Ella’s Kitchen.”
