Sainsbury’s Bank is relaunching its car insurance business today, supported by a £10m marketing campaign.

The bank said that the campaign would highlight the cost of its motor cover.

It claims that motorists could save up to £180 on their premium with Sainsbury’s Bank.

The bank estimates that more than 18 million motorists pay up to £6.7bn in premiums but if they paid the average premium of the cheapest 25% of insurers, they could save as much as £1.17bn.
