Selfridges has appointed Ewan Venters to the newly created role of director of food and catering.
Venters joins Selfridges from food service supplier Brakes, where he held a number of roles, including managing director of Wild Harvest, which supplies produce to leading restaurants.
Prior to Brakes, Venters worked for Sainsbury, where he gained experience in a wide range of activities including working
in stores and logistics, as well as being PA to the then group deputy chairman Tom Vyner. He also held a buying position within the fresh produce division.
He takes up his new role on Monday (November 28).
