Artisan food retailer Sourced Market is aiming to raise £700,000 through crowdfunding to help pay for a new store.

Sourced Market has a shop at St Pancras station and also sells street food at events – including the London 2012 Olympics and the Rolling Stones’ Hyde Park concert.

It is now looking to revamp the St Pancras store – which opened in 2009 – and open another store in London.

To fund the plans, it is offering investors the opportunity to obtain equity in the company on the crowdfunding platform Crowdbnk.

Investors can put in as little as £25 for a stake and are offered rewards, from food platters and hampers to free coffee and beer, depending on the size of the investment. Large investors will also be given the opportunity to join a team of business advisors.
