Just three baskets came back full of this week's dairy products from the chilled section. The cheapest was from our Grocer 33 star performing store, Tesco Extra in Glasgow.
Tesco pipped Asda in Leicester by 27p thanks to its low price on Philadelphia cheese, while the Midlands store charged 14p more for its cream compared with Asda in Waterlooville.
Safeway had the most expensive basket at £11.91 but did claim the double because it had all products in stock for both baskets.
Safeway and Sainsbury were at the top of the price range for Actimel, while the Co-op and Somerfield sold the functional drink in only 4-packs. Tesco in Plymouth, Sainsbury and Somerfield were out of the cheese.
