Tesco has added double glazing to its ever-growing list of products and services.
The supermarket giant has paired up with Job Worth Doing and Weatherseal to offer windows, doors and conservatories via a new website, tescowindows.com.
“We are unique in that we believe in transparent pricing,” said Tesco DIY buyer Fabio Perrotta. “Therefore our guide prices are published on our website, unlike other providers.”
Marketing director Simon Singleton said the move would “drive a coach and horses through a seedy old sector”.
The news comes after Tesco last week announced a partnership with removals company Pickfords, enabling Clubcard users to redeem points against the cost of moving home.
