Tesco has confirmed that Boughey Distribution the sales and distribution business of the North Western Farmers group is to manage its consolidation depot at Winsford, Cheshire.
Filling of the warehouse is in progress with full utilisation expected by the end of October. Boughey has taken a 15-year lease on a new warehouse on an industrial estate in Winsford.
After installing racking, the warehouse will have a capacity of 12,500 pallets.
Boughey already distributes consolidated loads nationally for a number of Tesco suppliers, both branded and private label.
