Customers shopping via Tesco Direct's internet service will now be able to read detailed product labelling information before buying a product. The move aims to give Tesco customers more confidence in the products they are buying as well as help them avoid foods that could provoke allergic reaction. The service, called i-label, will also allows pictures of products to be included on the web site for the first time. Tesco Direct's technical director Jon Higgins said: "The internet is a significant development for Tesco. It is growing at a rate of 2,000 customers per day and i-label provides them with the ability to buy confidently." {{NEWS }}
