Tesco is testing a consultation service that advises shoppers on dietary issues.
The Tesco Personal Shopper Service is on trial for two weeks in five supermarkets, including stores in Kensington, London, Newcastle and St Rollox in Glasgow. Customers will be able to book a free 30-minute appointment with a registered nutritionist, who will guide them around the store.
The service has been introduced in the run-up to Race for Life 2005, sponsored by Tesco and open only to women, which will take place between May 4 and July 24 in locations across the UK.
