August 17, 1991. Kwik Save and Costcutter have bought the collapsed Yorkshire C&C and retail chain RT Willis, which went into voluntary receivership last month. Kwik Save has added 18 of the larger stores to its recent acquisitions in the north east. Costcutter has bought 10, although two are not trading. It has also acquired the former distribution depot, three operational cash and carries, plus a closed one.
