Over recent years the G33 award for service has been batted between Asda and Morrisons, before Waitrose finally broke their stranglehold last year.
However, this year there is another new name on the trophy. Step forward Tesco.
It was tight at the top, but Tesco finished with 14 customer service wins this year, two ahead of Sainsbury's who finished with 12.
Asda finished just behind with 11, and while Morrisons recorded just seven wins. Waitrose finished with six.
The service trophy is awarded following a comprehensive sweep of shop standards, including cleanliness, car parks, checkout staff and queuing times where Tesco recorded the quickest time of all five supermarkets, at two minutes and 19 seconds.
