Sainsbury's is to join the new craze for dissolvable liquid washing pouches with the launch of an own label variant. It plans to capture a stake in the £1bn sector with the new Novan Solububbles product which goes on sale in mid-March . Co-operative Group last week pipped Procter and Gamble and Unilever to the post with the launch of McBride's manufactured Brio Actipods capsules. (The Grocer, February 17).
