The real growth area in ethnic is in snacks and accompaniments and most stores did carry a wide range of shapes and sizes. Although Morrisons only provided two items for our basket, it had a well merchandised and stocked area full of spicy foods. Somerfield in Scotland could only manage prawn crackers, while Asda in Wales had just poppadums and naans from our list.
