Morrisons has finally secured planning permission to build a third RDC near Kettering after its application was turned down earlier this year.
The 670,000 sq ft facility at Latimer Park will open in 2005 to serve stores in south and east England, the Midlands and Wales. It will create more than 1,000 new jobs.
The RDC, which will complement sites at Cheshire and Wakefield, is just off junction 10 of the A14, allowing easy access to the national road network, said a spokesman.
