The first outlet will open in March 2003 in Cheadle, Cheshire, with all six operational by August.
TM Retail’s trading director Paul Baxter said the pilot would run until the partners had decided if the format was suitable to roll out. He said: “The store will be a unique c-store shopping experience.”
All six pilot sites will be under 3,000 sq ft conversions of TM Retail’s existing Martins and Forbuoys fascias.
