Today's Group, the wholesaling arm of Nisa-Today's, has handed the new role of brand marketing manager to Rebecca Hopper.

The appointment marks the buying group's latest move to drive recruitment and build its symbol group. Hopper will be responsible for promoting the group's benefits to potential members and supporting the trading team by developing marketing themes and promotional mechanics to drive sales year-round.

"This is a key position for the group's development and will make a critical contribution to our future strategy," said Today's Group MD Bill Laird. "There is growth potential for our wholesalers' retail estates utilising a focused marketing approach."

Today's launched its new fascia stores in December and last month poached Raj Krishan from rival Landmark Wholesale for another new role, retail development director.
