Reaseheath College in Cheshire has been awarded a contract to provide degree-level training under the dairy industry's Project Eden programme.

Supported by dairy companies such as Arla Foods, Project Eden aims to equip students with technical skills tailored toward a career in dairy.

A £6m dairy training facility is now under construction in preparation for the first student intake in September.

"We are confident we can work with the industry to produce the dairy technologists of the future," said Reaseheath's principal Meredydd David.
