Good to see Sainsbury boss Sir Peter Davis and his colleagues are on such top form. At last week's suppliers' conference Sir Peter was cracking loads of wonderfully self deprecating jokes, including one about the fact he and his trading director Stuart Mitchell suffered from the same "disadvantage"  their love of food. And the punchline? Sir Peter said: "I recently met Feargal Quinn of Superquinn and he noted that I had put on weight since he last met me. But he added: I have never trusted a thin grocer'." Amen to that. {{COUNTERPOINT }}
