TV listings is the bestselling segment of the magazine market in terms of percentage value for five of the big six supermarket chains. According to Seymour's monthly monitor for April, Morrisons, Safeway, Sainsbury, Somerfield and Tesco all show the percentage value of sales in the TV listings sector outstrip those of any other sector of the magazine market. The exception is Asda, where TV listings takes second place to the comics and teenage sector. Seymour puts this down to the chain's price-cutting promotions on comics during 2001. Of the big six supermakets, Tesco holds the biggest share of the TV magazine sector with 14.6% of the rsv  substantially ahead of its nearest multiple competitor Sainsbury, which has 7.8%. Asda comes in at number three with 5.6%. {{CTN }}
