Discount chain Ugo is advertising non-food offers for the first time since sister company Haldanes Stores collapsed in June.

Before Haldanes fell into administration, Ugo had been advertising non-food offers as part of a three-weekly 24-page leaflet. However, after Haldanes collapsed, Ugo reduced its leaflets to four pages, without non-food, sparking rumours it had fallen out of favour with suppliers.

A new leaflet, released last week, is advertising non-food deals including a Gino D’Acampo saucepan set for £19.99, a wooden trolley for £39.99 and a halogen oven for £49.99.
