Unilever has announced the addition of former foreign secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind MP to its board.
Sir Malcolm, the Conservative member of parliament for Kensington and Chelsea, joins the board of the Pot Noodle maker as a non-executive director.
Chairman Michael Treschow said the Tory grandee’s “broad background in international affairs” would make him “a valuable addition to the board".
Unilever also announced that Leon Brittan, Wim Dik and Narayana Murthy would step down from the board in May.
