Unilever has announced the appointment of Jean-Marc Heut as its new chief financial officer. Huet is currently CFO at pharmaceutical company, Bristol-Myers Squibb. He will take up the position at Unilever on 1 January.

Prior to joining Bristol-Myers Squibb in March 2008, Huet was CFO at Royal Numico and executive director of investment banking services at Goldman Sachs International.

"Paul Polman has set an ambitious vision for the company and I'm looking forward enormously to the challenge," said Huet.
