Unilever's split into two divisions of foods and home & personal care has led to the appointment of two directors. Both will take executive authority and profit responsibility for their respective areas. Former finance director Patrick Cescau will become foods director with effect from January 1. Until then he will be running the planning to integrate the Bestfoods business and take immediate charge of Unilever's North American foods business. Current foods category director Alexander Kemner will remain in place until his retirement in May, to support the integration process. The new home & personal care director will be Keki Dadiseth who is currently preparing plans to implement the new structure. The current strategy and technology director Rudy Markham is now finance director with immediate effect, retaining his IT responsibilities. The role of Unilever's executive committee remains unchanged, with responsibility for overall results and performance of the group. {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
