Retailers across the country will be encouraging customers to leave their cars at home on Walk & Shop Day next Wednesday.

Suppliers including CCE, Cadbury, Britvic and PepsiCo are throwing their weight behind the event, which is part of the FWD’s My Shop is Your Shop campaign. “We’re asking the public to consider a smaller weekly shop and strolling to their local store once or twice a week,” said FWD CEO James Bielby.
