Bestway has begun to roll out its Best-one retail group, and has launched a delivery service for unaffiliated customers. The first store opened in Westbourne Grove, West London in November (The Grocer, Nov 25) and retailer development manager James Hall said Bestway was now ready to roll out the group in London, Bristol and Leicester. Stores joining during March and April will take the number of Best-one outlets to 12, and further stores are lined up for membership by June. Hall said: "As soon as Bestway is able to ensure the right service back-up we will be able to deal with the waiting list in other parts of the country." In addition it is launching a new delivery service, Bestway Direct, which will offer ambient, chilled and frozen deliveries for all unaffiliated retailers in the areas presently served by Bestway's 23 cash and carry depots. Initially the chilled and ambient service will operate in London, Bristol and the Midlands only. {{NEWS }}
