WineFlair sales and profits fall following pressure from mults

WineFlair said it would still focus on its off-trade core

Northern Irish off-licence chain WineFlair has reported pre-tax profits of £165,551 and sales of £20.9m for the year to 30 September 2012.

The figure is against profits of £520,861 and sales of £35.3m for the 18 months to 30 September 2011, according to accounts filed at Companies House.

Competition from UK mults meant the environment was “challenging”, the company said, adding that it would continue to focus on the off-trade.
