Blueheath said the warehouse, which it bought from CTM Wholesale 18 months ago and is one of two dedicated depots, would join Key Lekkerland in April 2007. Its other depot in Thurrock, formerly owned by AC Ward, is already affiliated to the organisation.
In addition, Blueheath CEO Mark Aylwin, who assumed his post in September, has become
a board member of the buying group.
Blueheath plans to assist with the development of Key Lekkerland's KeyStore fascia in London and south east England. "By becoming a full member of Key, we can simplify our brand offering to our customers as well as our relationship with suppliers," said Aylwin.
"We already have a very successful relationship with Key Lekkerland."
The move comes less than a year after Blueheath left rival buying group Landmark.
