One of South America’s biggest wine exporters, Chile’s Concha y Toro, recorded a 38.7% rise in its second-quarter net profit.
The company attributed its growth to higher domestic wine sales and higher revenues from exports to third parties and from its subsidiary in the UK.
Net earnings were $11.4m for the quarter compared to $8.3m the previous year.
